Return Policies

We want you to be happy with your ipe or other decking. Ask lots of questions. You can ask as you want. We will answer questions, send photos, and generallyl do what ever it takes to help you understand what you are buying.

Product: Quantity of product must be verified when delivered. Call us with any claims before you install.  Installed wood cannot be returned. The quality of manufacture / grade and moisture content must be inspected at delivery. Returns must be made within 30 days. Returns must be made before product is installed, cut or altered in any way.

All returns of non-defective merchandise are subject to a 20% fee.

Count and verify the amount before signing delivery receipt. If you have discrepancies note them on the delivery receipt prior to signing. Yon call always call before signing the delivery receipt.

Custom Product: all custom ordered product including custom milled products are non-returnable. This includes clip grooving, custom T&G, custom wraps, grooved slip tread, and other custom milled lumber.

Avoiding Returns: Please call describing the problem. We can help with installation questions that may quickly solve the problem.

Samples are complimentary and sample shipping is non-refundable.

Discontinued Items: no returns on discontinued products.

Original Packaging: Open boxes are non-returnable.  All returns for accessories need to be unopened in the original packaging .

All wood is Nature's bounty.  A tree is living and growing and as such has its own characteristics, grain patterns and colors. Wood decking will reflect this uniqueness.  Expect small imperfections like milling artifacts or quilting. These can be easily sanded out will not be considered a defective product.

Skilled contractors, woodworkers and DIYer know that there are many ways to use the fantastic properties of decking to complete any project. Simple solutions are usually the best. If one board face is not to your liking turn it over. An orbital sander with 80 or 100 grit paper can remove planer other marks.

If you are renovating an old or damaged Ipe deck, a sander works wonders.
